You will be divided into groups of four and assigned an inventor and invention to explore.  This activity will be divided into two tasks.   Make sure that you distribute the work evenly amongst yourselves.

 

Task One:  Your group will be creating a power point presentation.  Within the power point the group will answer the following questions.

        Who was the inventor and what was his invention?

        How has the invention affected society?

Task Two:  Your group will also be creating a poster board.  Within the poster board will be a diagram of the invention created by your given inventor.  The diagram should be an intricate drawing or computer created sketch of the invention.  Also on the poster board you will be expected to label each part of the invention and explain how each part is necessary for the invention to work successfully.

This project will be due one week after the teacher has assigned the project.  Be prepared to give a ten minute combined presentation over your PowerPoint and poster board.
