Introduction

What season are we experiencing today in our part of the world?  Do you think that it’s the same all over the world?  No matter where you live, are all four seasons important or do all four occur? Let’s go and find out how seasons change around the world.

Our, planet, Earth, revolves around the sun. It takes one whole year for the Earth to make one trip around the sun!!!!!!

While traveling around the sun the earth is tilted slightly to one side, which means that some parts of the earth gets more direct sunlight while others don't. This is why we have seasons. The word season is also used to describe long periods of time, about 3 months, that has the same type of weather.
