The Task   

    In groups of five, students will be assigned an area of Washington D.C. to explore. While exploring the area, students will research the different landmarks, sites, and monuments that tourists would be interested in visiting. After gathering all of the information needed, students will design and create a travel brochure that showcases the area and will attract tourists. Groups will also present their brochures to the class and AAA. Each group will try to persuade the agency to choose their area as the best place to visit.
