The Process
For this project, students will evaluate many aspects of the Black Death that occurred in Europe beginning in the year 1348. They will place themselves in the perspective of a doctor living during this time, and through research they will work to uncover the cause and solution of the Black Death.
Here is the Procedure that should be followed to ensure successful completion of this assignment:

2. Students will be asked to place themselves in the position of a doctor during this time period. While doing research, students should look carefully for causes, spread, number of deaths, and any other aspects associated with the Black Death.
3. Using Word Processing software, students will create and maintain a running journal of their findings. Each day of research should be noted, as well as any new developments they uncover about their study.
4. After all research has been collaborated, students must craft a summary of their findings using the Word Processing software of their choice. Students should also incorporate possible treatment methods for those suffering from the plague, as well as solutions that incorporate 21st century medicine and treatment methods that are available in today's time.
5. Students must create a scientific diagram that illustrates how the plague was passes from one person to another using the Inspiration software program.

Note:
Students should feel free to organize their findings in any manner they wish. For example; charts, graphs, and other tools are very easily created with various software applications.
