Based upon individual research, completion of assignments, and overall understanding, the student will be evaluated by the following criteria.

Assignment Completion

 

Assignment is very poorly organized and little effort was used in completion.
Some effort has been put into assignment but still lacks in many areas.
Assignment is well organized but falls short in only a few aspects of the project. Assignment is very well organized and written and only a few minor errors are present.

 

Creativity

 

 

Project is very general and little effort was used in its creation. The student has shown a minor use of creativity but could use improvement. Reasonable creativity was used by the student yet some improvement remains. The student has shown an outstanding knowledge of the subject with much creativity.

 

 

Journal

Journal was poorly written and had many grammatical errors. The student completed some entries, however, journal was not effectively completed. Accomplished journal very effectively and had few grammatical errors. Journal was exceptionally written and showed a full understanding of the assignment with few to zero errors.

 

 

Summary of Findings

Summary lacked detail and was not complete. Summary shows some understanding of the assignment but lacks in many areas. Student was knowledgeable on the subject and created a well-written summary of findings. Very descriptive summary and a distinct understanding of the subject and findings.

 

 

Inspiration Project

Project was not completed or did not follow assignment thoroughly. Project was completed, however, the student did not research the assignment completely. Project is complete and the student shows a reasonable understanding of the scientific nature of the assignment. The assignment was completed and an extra effort was shown in the research for its completion.
